The Blood Type Diet Worked For Me.

I was originally skeptical about the Blood Type Diet.

I majored in Biology & tend to question everything. But after reading the book and following the diet for my blood type I saw the results.

I had my first child and could not lose the extra pounds. I tried everything that worked in the past without success. I was going to the gym three times a week, watching what I ate with calorie restriction & eating several small meals a day.

Nothing was working and I was getting very discouraged. Sure enough I tried the Blood Type diet and I dropped the extra pounds. Not only did I drop the weight but I also had more energy.

I was able to keep the weight off and my insomnia disappeared. This diet is amazing. I now have three of my friends also giving this diet a try.

Hold The Tums, I Don't Need Them Anymore

My wife has numerous food sensitivities and suffered poor health throughout most of her life until she discovered Peter D'Adamo's book, "Eat Right For Your Type."

The Blood Type Diet turned her life around. Since we married I've done much of the cooking in our house and I take great pride having learned to prepare tasty, nutritious meals, which don’t offend her many food sensitivities and, quite literally, make her sick.

Because we cook all our meals (of necessity) I've found it simpler to just eat her diet rather than cooking separate meals for myself and we're the same blood type so our tastes are very similar anyway.

I've always worked high stress jobs and calcium based antacid tablets have been a staple in my diet because I've always had heartburn, until that is, I started eating her diet.

I admit, I still take one or two antacid tablets a week but, before I went on the blood type diet, I took one or two antacid tablets an hour throughout the day.

Getting Healthy With The Blood Type Diet

About eight months ago I came across the blood type diet promoted by Peter D'Adamo. It showed me to eat right for my blood type and to avoid certain foods that were supposed to affect the way my body absorbs certain nutrients.

I did not think that the blood type diet would really work for me. I had already tried a few other so-called healthier lifestyles without any success. But this turned out to be very different.

It works for me. I feel a lot better. My metabolism has gotten back to normal again which helped me loose about fifteen pounds. My immune system has gotten stronger too. I haven't had a cold or the flu since following the blood type diet.

I even sleep better now. Before I was never able to get a good nights rest. Now I wake up in the morning full of energy.

I have suffered from allergies all of my life and now for the first time I see relief. I would really recommend the blood type diet not just for simply loosing weight but also for your overall health.

You will feel much better!

Strong belief in the beneficial aspects of the blood type diet

Because of a personal experience that occurred in my life I have a strong belief in the beneficial aspects of the blood type diet to my total health and well-being. Let me relate to you the circumstances that have given me this strong belief.

At the age of thirty-seven, I became pregnant, which motivated me to look for all information that would ensure that my baby’s health would be perfect and that mine would be very good.

I stopped smoking, drinking alcohol and although many years ago I had already read something about blood type and the affect it can have on a person’s health, I now revisited the subject.

From the seventh month of pregnancy I started to follow the diet that was recommended for my blood type, which I believe gave my body the resistance to combat the anaphylactic shock, due to an allergy to an antibiotic that I received in hospital, prior to my baby being born.

Both my baby and I experienced a full recovery from this situation, the doctors and nurses that attended to us expressed that this was a rare occurrence, but that they were impressed by the speed of our recovery.

Once I was at home with my baby boy, I continued to still follow the recommended blood type diet. In only eight weeks I had returned to the weight that I had before becoming pregnant.

I was able to wear all of my favorite clothes again and this was to the amazement of many of my family and friends. I also found that I had an increased level of energy, which allowed me to easily cope with my "new life" as a mother.

I also believe that the blood type diet was the reason for the good health of my baby during pregnancy and that the breast milk that I have since provided to him has had all the right nutritional qualities that are needed for his excellent growth and development.

For all these reasons I would strongly recommend that you learn about the blood type diet and consider following it. I think you will find many benefits as I did.

Type O Guy

I am 32 years old and in generally good health. I've never been in the hospital or suffered from any serious health problems - My cholesterol was 148 last time I had a blood work up.

For as long as I can remember I've suffered from lethargy and mental fog. Its negatively affected the quality of my relationships and decisions I've made throughout my life. I knew there was something wrong but I couldn't figure out what it was.

I tried everything I could think of - taking magnesium pills, feng shui'ing my room, vitamins, cardio on an empty stomach, meditation, cutting out fast food, etc.

Nothing really made a noticeable impact. Then I read about the BTD in Dr. D'Adamo's book. I've been on this diet for about 30 days, and I can tell you I defintitely notice some changes. I've severely cut dairy and wheat based products and opted for mozarrella cheese and rice substitutes, when appropriate. I also cut out cookies & chips and snack on prunes and rice cakes instead.

I had only 4 hours of sleep last night and the night before, and I have never felt better. This is the energy and mental sharpness that I have been missing. I plan to continue the diet and see what other improvements I can make.

I Will Always Stick To The Blood Type Diet!

I came upon the Blood Type Diet a while back when i was searching for different types of diets.

I made sure I did my research on it before going with it. I have an O blood type, and so I would need a higher amount of protein. Dr. Peter D’Adamo was right. I got a full check- up not too long before the diet, and found out I was anemic.

What better way to incorporate protein as well as keeping myself healthy? After finding out what I needed, I began the diet, and began loving it. After a few weeks of dieting, I felt so much better.

A lot of the foods were ones that I had enjoyed before, so it was not hard for me not like the diet. I focused on getting my protein up as well as the dark leafy greens. I absolutely love spinach and when I saw that on the list of allowed foods, I was ecstatic.

I would recommend the blood type diet to anyone. It will most likely work for you and it is not hard to stick to because the foods that are beneficial to your blood type are the foods you will find that you like.

The Blood Type Diet Works Great!

I have tried many different types of diets and have never found much success.

I usually would lose my motivation within a couple of weeks. I have been on the blood type diet for four months and have lost 25 pounds.

I feel great and do not feel like I am on a diet just more like eating right and staying healthy.

I would recommend the blood type diet to anyone trying to lose weight and be healthy.

The Blood Type Diet - For The Best of Your Life

I firmly believe that the Blood Type Diet saved my life.

Having varied and multiple illnesses throughout my life, one day I found myself standing in front of the refrigerator wondering what I could eat that wouldn't half kill me.

I was down to 5 items that didn't hurt all the way through and dropping weight fast. Needless to say, my ability to think and function was totally compromised.

A few days later I saw the book "Eat Right 4 Your Type" at a friend's home and asked if I could borrow it. I started reading it and got very excited.

The basic premise of eating right for one's blood type made so much sense. Within a few days I was on the road to recovery from life-threatening intestinal problems.

I follow the diet stringently and have had a symptom-free and happy life for the last 10 years.
