Using Raw Honey in Place of Sugar

Hi Erin,

Thanks so much for your submission. I just wanted to add that people using honey should always opt for raw honey over processed honey.

Raw honey is much less glycemic than processed (pasteurized) honey and is therefore a healthier choice.

There is also an issue over eating carbs before bed, as any insulin rise can suppress growth hormone release during the sleep cycle.

This has to be weighed as a tradeoff for getting a good nights sleep.
