Results With Finasteride

I started losing my hair in my late thirties and it only went downhill from there. Not only was I suffering from hair loss, but also gray hair!

I started using various products from CVS and other drugstores, but nothing quite worked. In fact, everything made it worse.

I tried some home remedies but again, things just got worse. The only thing I found that really worked for me, was Finasteride.

Finasteride helped restore some hair back so there were no noticeable bald spots. I have found that over the counter remedies do not work.

See a doctor and talk out possible options like laser hair or other medicines or drugs that will help the hair grow back.

Minoxidil - (Rogaine) Caution Required
by: George Parigian Jr.

Thank you for this post! People should be careful with Minoxidill (Rogaine) even though it's now available over the counter. It was derived from a prescription medication for high blood pressure, and can cause problems because it can get into your system when applied to your scalp.

If it gets into your system, and it may interfere with medications you are on, so it would be wise to check with your doctor before using it, IF you have any serious medical condition OR you are already on prescription medication.

Of course you can try (Rogain)or the generic (Minoxidill)if it's safe for you to do so. However the combination of Saw Palmetto, Polysorbate 80 (Life Extension Shampoo) and Nizoral Shampoo will work very well.

Just Started Minoxidil
by: 4xtra

I just started the 15% minoxidil w/5% azeliac acid and let me tell you the first day I did 2 ml I had to call the EMT squad because of shortness of breath, blood pressure going wild and I had chest pains as well.

2 ml/15% of minoxidil is the equivalent of 300 mg of oral minoxidil The average oral dose for high blood pressure is 5-10 mg so to say the least this is not to be played with and is flat out dangerous if you are not careful.

I also just started Careprost the generic Bimatoprost (the eye lash growth stimulator)
15% Azeliac acid, Saw palmetto, Biotin, Polysorbate 80, and Nizoral about twice a week.

Lets see what happens. By the way it is a absolute fact that if your hair is still wet when you apply minoxidil, FAR more will get into your system and I know that is the very reason I experienced side effects.

So make SURE your hair is absolutely dry because I after I lowered my dose to 1ml a day and on a dry scalp I experienced NO side effects. Do not be hard headed and ignore this advice because you are playing with fire with this stuff.

Remember they found out about minoxidil by accident.
