My Experience With Raw Garlic

I started overeating like mad after I had stopped smoking. To compensate for the urge to smoke I would eat continuously between meals. I had put on a lot of weight and my cholesterol levels had risen to dangerous levels.


It was then that I decided to do something about it. A friend of mine suggested that I take two raw garlic cloves every morning, and that it would do me a world of good. I was averse to taking garlic because of the pungent taste and smell of the allicin, however I decided to give it a try.

I would initially gulp down two cloves of raw garlic with a glass of water every morning when I woke up. I continued with this for about a month along with cutting down on my food intake.

I started noticing the changes, and the blood test showed that the cholesterol had come down drastically. I was delighted. I then started chewing the cloves of raw garlic to make it more effective.

Initially I did not relish the raw garlic, but over time I got used to the taste and actually started enjoying it. Since it was early morning, the garlic smell would vanish by the time I got ready to go to work.

I feel much better now and have my weight under control, but I do not forget to take my two raw garlic cloves every morning. My cholesterol levels are low and I feel the difference.

My Recipie Using Raw Garlic

Raw garlic is used as a medicinal element. We put garlic in all our recipes, most probably in Chinese dishes. Garlic can be used as either raw or as garlic supplements such as in a pill, powder or capsule.

To get the benefits of garlic in a tasty way, I offer the following garlic recipe for “steamed garlic achar.” (a Hindi word which means “pickle.) First step is to steam the raw garlic then put 1 spoon of chili powder, half spoon of mustard powder and asafetida seeds.

Put on the flame after that add the chili, mustard powder then put asafetida. For the final step, you take it off the flame and mix the raw garlic with the above masalas. Prepared this way, garlic doesn’t lose its nutritional value.

Garlic is used for intestinal gas problems. It is also used as a good sleeping medicine. Eating garlic every day will kill the parasites inside your body. For all these and many other benefits of garlic, raw garlic is a great herb.

I have a number of juicing books that I consider excellent resources. My favorite is “Juicing for Life” by Cherie Calbom. In the book she gives us many juicing recipes that contain raw garlic.

Garlic is considered a miracle herb and I always feel the health benefits of garlic, when I consume it on a regular basis, particularly when I use it as garlic juice.

Every time that I consume raw garlic juice along with other vegetables, such as carrots or celery, I can feel the allicin in the garlic juice going to work almost immediately.

The best thing I love about garlic health benefits is that it lowers cholesterol. I feel that a regular diet of raw garlic can help a person live longer.

Raw Garlic is a Miracle Worker

I have used the benefits of garlic mainly for a bad acne problem. I have it on my back and on my face as well. I have noticed a vast improvement using raw garlic, when compared to the many over the counter products I have tried.

My grandmother is a firm believer in natural healing products and herbal medicines, and she suggested rubbing raw garlic on my acne. At first I was very unsure about this, and thought she was nuts; however, I am glad I listened to her wise advice.

She also told me to eat a piece of raw garlic monthly because it helps keep high cholesterol levels in check. My doctor was impressed by how low my bad cholesterol (LDL) got just by eating a piece of garlic once a month.

I would definitely recommend the health benefits of garlic by using it in these ways to live a healthier life. I have learned from personal experience that the benefits of garlic, especially raw garlic, are truly remarkable!

Tried Raw Garlic and I Will Never Look Back!

Before I discovered the health benefits of garlic, I used to get sick all the time. I would have colds often, was always tired, and never really felt one hundred percent myself.

It was never anything serious, but definitely got in the way of enjoying life. I went to several doctors, and was prescribed an assortment of different medications.

Most of the time the medications had no real effect on me, except various unpleasant side effects. I was getting fed up with always having a runny nose, sore throat, and headaches.

At that point I was willing to try almost anything, and when a coworker at the grocery store I was a cashier at suggested eating raw garlic, I gave it a shot.

I put the raw garlic on anything it tasted good on. At first I didn't notice any effects, but I was growing to enjoy the raw garlic.

Soon as I kept eating it, I realized that I felt great, and had for weeks. So a regular consumption of raw garlic really helped me out.

Now I take garlic supplements to avoid the garlic smell, but still maintain the health benefits of garlic.

Better Heart Health With Raw Garlic

Raw garlic is a good remedy for heart patients.
One can use raw garlic in many ways especially in Indian Dishes.

Garlic pickle


Key ingeridents

1) 1 cup full of raw garlic pieces
2) 1 cup Red Chilly Powder
3) 1 cup full of Salt
4) 2 cups of vegetable oil
5) 1/2 cup Mustard powder
6) 1 tsp full of Methi seeds

Preparation

Take a bowl and add all the above mentioned ingredients, mix well and pour all the mixed pickle in a porcelain jar,close the jar and tighten the mouth of the jar with a white cloth.

Stir it once in two days. Repeat the stirring process till one week and then its ready to eat.

Avoid wet spoons to take the pickle. Take a spoon full of garlic pickle every day as it reduces cholestrol and keeps our body more active.

Daily usage of raw garlic reduces the risk of Heart attack.
