Thanks very much for your story! Cayenne is a great herb for overall health, however one thing I would caution readers on however is that cayenne capsules can be kind of hard on your stomach.
I have used cayenne in capsule form, and encountered this several times. When the capsule dissolves in your stomach, you will get the full effect of the cayenne powder, which can be quite painful.
You might want to use the capsules after a meal when there is some food in your stomach to buffer the effect of the cayenne.
There are also cayenne capsules with peppermint to buffer the effect of the cayenne such as "Kool-Mint Cayenne" by Now Foods.
Cayenne does take some getting used to, so go easy on it until your system is able to handle it. As always it pays to be cautious with any new supplement until you know how your body reacts to it.
