Juicing for Health is Easy and Effective!

by Ruby
(Philadelphia, PA)

When I first heard about juicing for health, I was skeptical about the benefits. But many of my friends extolled its virtues so I gave it a try. I have to say that it has been quite an experience.

I learned that raw vegetables are very healthy in the diet and the darker leafy vegetables are the most effective.

My first issue was the taste of it, so I started adding a few grapes or pears to improve the taste.

But I have always been quick to acclimate to taste and I don’t need any enhancements anymore. My children on the other hand are a different matter.

I have also learned that it’s a good idea to keep the pulp (that contains fiber) in the juice because of its great benefits for digestion and bowel movements.

After having juiced for a while I can say that I feel healthier. It actually prevents sickness and I haven’t fallen as ill in a year as I normally would.

Also I feel my body has more energy and I am keeping fit. Juicing for health is easy and it really works!

Juicing Improved My Health!

by Claribel
(Long Beach, California, USA)

I have been juicing for nearly two years now.

I bought the Jack LaLane Power Juicer at Macys during the holiday season sale of 2007, and it was one of the best investments I have ever made for my health. I like this juicer because you really do get a lot of juice out of it.

The only thing I don’t like about the juicer is the clean up. It’s kind of hard to clean it after. Other than that, everything else about it is good. It was definitely worth the $99 I paid for it.

I have to admit that I don’t like vegetable juice that much. I just can’t get use to the taste of it. However, I do try to mix fruits and vegetables at times. One of my favorite combinations is one red apple, half a carrot, and one peach.

My ultimate favorite though is a combination of one green apple, one peach, and half of a grapefruit. This juice taste tangy, but the peach still gives it a bit of sweetness. Juicing has definitely been beneficial to my health.

I always drink a cup of fresh juice before I workout at the gym, and it definitely gives me energy to complete my workout. I will definitely continue juicing.

Juicing Your Way To A Healthy Life

by Surama
(Kolkata,India)

Juicing your way to a healthy life with fresh fruit and vegetable juices that can be made at home using a juicer mixer is a healthier option.

Benefits from juicing fresh fruits that are rich in antioxidants are that they prevent premature aging, graying of hair and protects against many diseases.

Personally I love to drink the bottle gourd juice mixed with an amla or an apple. This helps in reducing the blood sugar level. Pomegranate juice helps in preventing diarrhea.

As fruit are very low in calories, fat free and rich in nutrients it helps in weight reduction also. Bitter gourd, carrot, beetroot and spinach can be taken in as juice.

Spinach and beetroot are blanched and then pureed and taken. This is a very good drink for people having low hemoglobin count. Lemon juice is a very refreshing drink in hot summer months.

Juicing is the BEST!

by Stanley Barnes
(Flagstaff, Az)

I love juicing! It cleanses my body, provides me with ample energy, and also helps regulate my blood sugars, thus minimizing my body's cravings for junk food. Using fruit juices in the morning has also helped me move away from my usual three cups of coffee.

In the summer, one of my favorites is to blend the juice of fresh apples with a banana and frozen strawberries to create a refreshing, chilled smoothie.

I've also found juicing to be the most effective way to lose weight. During the holidays, I sometimes over imbibe of the usual holiday fare. There have been times where I've actually gained upwards of 10 pounds.

Afterwards, juicing helps me to get my body back to it's pre-holiday state. The pounds just melt off!

I highly recommend to anyone to incorporate drinking fresh vegetable juices into their daily lives. You won't regret it!

Juicing Without Added Sugar

by Lakkup

Juicing without added sugar saved the day!

One day on a sunny afternoon my friends came to my home without informing me. I didn’t know what to serve them, I offered them some food items but they refused, and said that they would prefer just juice alone.

I only know that there was no sugar in my home, and I couldn’t let them leave without offering them juice.

There were some fruits like banana, apple, watermelon, lemon, and only one vegetable beetroot in my home.

Suddenly an idea came to my mind where I felt that instead of adding sugar, beetroot when added would give the same taste of the sugar.

So just I squeezed the fruits apple, watermelon with milk in a mixer and beetroot alone separately in the mixer. I mixed both the squeezed juices, where the beetroot juice was in higher proportion.

Then the banana was cut into small round shapes, they were just dropped into the juice. Next after filling the juice into large glasses then I added some lemon drops to it.

Although the juice is a mixture of vegetables and fruits without added sugar, my friends exclaimed that the juice was very tasty and unlike anything they have tasted anywhere else!

Amazingly, one of my friend said, "you could have added less sugar!"

(Bangalore, India)

If you are looking for an easy and effective way to do something good for you body, consider the health benefits of juicing. Juicing is preparing and drinking fruit and vegetable juices, and the many health benefits of juicing far exceed those of eating solid fruits and vegetables.

For one thing, the body can quickly absorb larger amounts of nutrients from juices than from solid foods because the process of digestion that is necessary when you eat whole foods is bypassed.

Raw fruits and vegetables contain many substances that enhance health, and juicing benefits the body by providing the most concentrated and readily absorbed source of these substances.

Juicing provides benefits that can be seen and felt, such as better digestion, better hair texture and skin tone, and body detoxification.

Please check out the benefits of juicing today, and your body will thank you for it!
