Hormonal Balance Different in Men and Women?

Is the hormonal balance different in men and women? As an aging man I see wrinkles in my skin and gray hairs appearing. However my wife who is younger than me has started to age more rapidly mainly in the face area. So is the hormonal balance effected here?
